With limited hands-on preparation, Rennie is hopeful his plans can come to fruition, but he is also realistic the Wallabies won’t be the polished product. He estimates Australia will need to keep New Zealand to less than “15 or 16 points” if they’re a chance of winning for the first time on Kiwi soil since 2001 in Dunedin.

“We’ve done all we can do,” Rennie said. “We’re conscious that we can’t feed them with too much because their heads will be spinning on the weekend. We’ll grow our game over time. We know it’s not going to be perfect.
