A talk by Michelle Valberg. My eyes have forever scanned the sky for birds. As a child, as an adult, their freedom has beckoned to me, their grace has enthralled me. Birds connect us. They surround us. They capture our imagination. I will share my most treasured encounters with various feathered friends I have had the pleasure of photographing in Canada, from coast to coast to coast. Whether they are in migration, fledging, wintering or nesting, capturing bird behavior takes determination, patience and skill. Birds are great teachers. In this presentation, I will talk about my approach, settings, experiences and share my results from songbirds to raptors. I hope you will join me for the love of birds and photography.
