A talk by Adrian Binns. The Okavango Delta is one of southern Africa's most famous wilderness areas with pristine beauty and a remarkable landscape. Seasonal waters fan out over a vast area of northwestern Botswana creating a natural mosaic of palm-fringed islands, open savanna, crystal clear lagoons and vast floodplains before sinking into the Kalahari sands.

The Delta teems with wildlife - large herds of elephants, prides of lions, endangered wild dogs, and exceptional bird-watching with myriad aquatic and upland species, including the prized Pel’s fishing-owl, slaty egret, and wattled crane - providing incredible visitor experiences.
