WEBINAR DETAILS
  • About
Downtown Seattle is home to 330,000 jobs, more than 88,000 residents and the economic engine of Greater Seattle, according to the Downtown Seattle Association. Though coronavirus shuttered businesses throughout King County and brought Downtown Seattle to a halt, indicators show the infection is slowing throughout the city, and light at the end of the tunnel may be nearing.

When the shelter-in-place order comes to a halt, what businesses will reopen when? What impact will the slowdown have had on the construction and supply of multifamily and office?

Join Bisnow, Madison Marquette SVP Daniel Meyers and Downtown Seattle Association CEO Jon Scholes for an exchange of ideas, exploring ways in which the Downtown Seattle community can come together to accelerate healing and growth coming out of this slowdown.

During this webinar we will discuss:

--How have construction delays impacted Downtown Seattle’s office and housing supply?

--What has the coronavirus pandemic done to pricing and vacancy in both the rental and for-sale markets?

--How are Downtown businesses coming together to ensure they bounce back?

--What, if anything, can local government do — in addition to state and federal aid — to support small and local businesses?

--What role will retail, mixed-use and placemaking destinations have in helping Downtown recover economically?"
