Research Data Management (RDM), an often overlooked topic, is recently gaining more attention due to changes in funders’ and publishers’ policies regarding data availability and the emergence of the FAIR data principles. Although these developments will be covered in this webinar, the main focus will be placed on the selfish benefits of RDM by highlighting its time and
cost-efficiency and contribution to better visibility, recognition and impact of research efforts. For this, tools and good practices for RDM during all stages of research life cycle for the collection/generation, versioning, documentation, licensing and publication of research data, code and protocols will be explained.
