Do we have Big Data in Life Sciences?

Growing amounts of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data in Life Sciences provide new opportunities as well as pose a number of analytical challenges for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. One of them is application of advanced methodologies such as Machine and Deep Learning that are ideally suited to address the massive amounts of data.
