BigMarker Product Update Q3 2019

We have recently released massive number of new feature updates. In this webinar, Zhu-Song Mei, Founder & CEO of BigMarker.com will walk you through some of the key updates of the latest releases. We will also have an open Q&A to get more feedback from you.

New Feature Releases:

Seamless Content Switching: Webinar hosts can now enjoy seamless switching between the content they share during a live webinar. Previously, switching between screen sharing and slides/videos, as well as switching from webcam to microphone-only audio caused a slight delay in the live webinar stream. Now, the transition is instant and seamless, making for a smoother, more polished online presentation.

Improved Guest Presenter Experience: Guest presenters are an essential part of webinars for many webinar hosts, which is why we’ve updated our guest presenter onboarding experience to include custom emails and an updated landing page interface.
Now, hosts can design their own invitation and reminder email flow for their guest presenters. We’ve also redesigned the guest presenter’s view of the webinar landing page to include a built-in system check and detailed hosting instructions to help best prepare guest presenters before they join the live webinar.

Auto-reconnection of Content Streaming: Webinar hosts presenting on slow, spotty, or unpredictable internet connections will now be automatically reconnected to the webinar if a drop in internet connection occurs.
This update will automatically reconnect webcam, microphone, and/or screen sharing as soon as the host’s internet connection resumes. In other words, hosts won’t need to manually re-share their devices or screen sharing when a drop occurs.

Screen Sharing Quality: We reduced screen sharing bandwidth usage, which has significantly reduced latency in the screensharing stream and also increased the resolution of the stream.

Additional GDPR Checkbox: We’ve added a second checkbox option in our GDPR fields for additional opt-in options during registration.
To update your GDPR fields, visit the “Custom Registration Fields” section of your webinar’s “Manage Webinar” tab and click the “Enable GDPR Fields” button.

Additional Email Tokens: You can now use name tokens in all your emails including {first-name} {last-name} and {full-name}.
Visit the “Emails and Invitations” section of your webinar page to add these tokens to your BigMarker emails.

Custom Confirmation Page: Hosts can now send webinar registrants to a custom Thank You page on their own website instead of directing registrants to the BigMarker registration confirmation page after registration.

Disable Un-Registration: You can now disable the ability for people to unregister for your webinar after they register. This feature is particularly useful for API users, as ensures the data on BigMarker won’t be out of sync with your own database.

Improved One-Click Registration: You can now pass in email, first_name, last_name as parameters in your webinar link as a way to automatically register contacts when you send out email invites. If you have additional fields, those fields will then automatically populate with your values during registration.

Updated Email Tracking: All emails sent via BigMarker now include metrics on open rate and click rate. These metrics can be viewed on the Emails and Invitations” tab on your webinar page.
