Kulfi Beauty, Founder
As a South Asian woman, Priyanka Ganjoo rarely felt represented by beauty brands. With a background helping indie beauty brands establish and grow their business, Priyanka grew tired of the lack of inclusivity for South Asian women. Looking for a brand that would put South Asian women at the center of its narrative, Priyanka left the corporate beauty industry to create her own company, Kulfi Beauty. With products designed for South Asian skintones and undertones, Kulfi Beauty is challenging toxic beauty standards defined by eurocentric ideals and patriarchy.
Webinar hosting presenter Gilah E
Muri Lelu, Co-Founder + Chief Marketing Officer
With a background in digital media & marketing, Gilah (aka Evie Lelu) got her grounding in the beauty industry as the VP of Creative Strategy at boutique Métier Creative agency, where she oversaw branding & content initiatives for luxury beauty & lifestyle clients including Augustinus Bader, Dr. Dennis Gross, and Miami Design District. Sister to Muri, Gilah grew up in Northern California and is the first-generation daughter of a proud Belizean mother. Her creative sensibilities are informed by the rich history and culture of the Black diaspora, and she is passionate about creating platforms and pathways to celebrate and elevate the work of people of color — particularly women.
Webinar hosting presenter Grace F
Biophile, CEO + Co-Founder
Grace Fooden is an African American businesswoman with over three decades of experience as a merchant, general manager, and brand innovator.

A graduate of the Parsons School of Design’s Fashion/Apparel Design program, Grace is a creative problem solver with an invaluable combination of business and design instincts. Over the course of her career, she has worked with some of the fashion industry’s most visible brands, including Ralph Lauren, where she served as the VP of Merchandising and Merchandise Planning. She also held senior merchandising positions at Spanx, Warnaco, and Perry Ellis. She is skillful at unlocking value and achieving sustained financial performance with diversified consumer segments.

Grace’s segue into beauty began when she met Alison Cutlan through a mutual friend, who raved about a line of products that Alison had been working on. Sensing her friend’s unbridled enthusiasm, Grace’s merchant instincts kicked in immediately. She had already begun her own personal journey into exploring the conscious beauty space and knew that Alison was on the verge of creating something special. Roughly two years later, the pair launched Biophile to a glowing reception at Indie Beauty Expo, where the Bio-Shroom Rejuvenating Serum was named “Best Face Serum.”

Grace is on a mission to inspire the next generation of POC business executives and creatives. She is on the board of advisors at Cal Poly Pomona’s Apparel, Merchandising and Marketing division and is a guest mentor at Otis College of Art and Design and the Fashion Design department of Long Beach University.
