Stephen Parker

Stephen Parker is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Investment Strategy at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Stephen plays an integral role in the development of the Private Bank’s market views and investment recommendations, and leads a team of investment strategists and specialists.

Stephen serves on the firm’s Global Markets Council and on the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Capital Markets Assumptions Committee. He is also a key contributor to flagship publications such as the annual Outlook report and The View from the Global Investment Strategy Group.

Stephen has been with J.P. Morgan Private Bank for more than 22 years. Prior to his current role, he served as the Head of Specialized Strategies, which manages a suite of thematic and outcome-oriented investment solutions. The team was responsible for overseeing over $110 billion in single- and multi-asset class strategies for clients globally. Previously, he served as Head of Thematic Equity Solutions and as the Portfolio Manager for the Global Opportunistic Equity Strategy. He also served as U.S. Head of Multi-Asset Strategies for the Core Strategies Team, and worked in Investment Strategy supporting the Chief Investment Officer, with a focus on equity strategy.

He is a frequent guest speaker on CNBC and Bloomberg News.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia.

Lauren R. Rublin is the senior managing editor at Barron's, overseeing Roundtables and Special Projects. She previously worked in book publishing, and at Fairchild Publications and Time Inc.
