Thomas Kennedy is the Chief Investment Strategist for Global Wealth Management at J.P. Morgan. He leads the development of Wealth Management’s global economic and investment views, while serving as the chair of the Global Investment Strategy Group. Mr. Kennedy advises high net worth clients on asset allocation within the context of their overall investment portfolios, including tactical brokerage ideas and long-term discretionary solutions. Previously, Mr. Kennedy worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for 8 years, holding various research and policy positions. Most recently, he led a global macro strategy team, responsible for researching global financial markets and briefing senior Federal Reserve officials in New York and Washington D.C. He also served as a speech writer for the portfolio manager of SOMA (System Open Market Account Holdings), regularly crafting his remarks on financial markets delivered at the start of every FOMC meeting. In addition to his investment strategy responsibilities, Mr. Kennedy is an Adjunct Professor of Economics and Finance at Long Island University in New York. Mr. Kennedy received an M.B.A. from American University’s Kogod School of Business and a B.A. from Lafayette College.
