Mark Palmer
Managing Director, Research – Digital Assets and FinTech, BTIG
Mark Palmer is a Managing Director and Head of Digital Assets Research at BTIG. He provides comprehensive coverage across the Web 3 space including cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, DeFi, the Metaverse, DAOs, and other subsectors. Mr. Palmer has experience as an analyst and portfolio manager in both equities and high-yield/distressed debt. Prior to BTIG, he was a Portfolio Manager at Prudence Holdings. Previously, Mr. Palmer was a Portfolio Manager at Resurgence Asset Management and Highbridge Capital Management. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of roles at BlackRock, AIG Global Investment Group, and BNY Capital Markets. Mr. Palmer began his financial services career in leveraged finance at Bank of America. He received an MBA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and a master’s degree and BA from the University of Virginia.
