James D’Arcy, CFA
Senior Portfolio Manager, Vanguard Fixed Income Group
James D’Arcy, CFA, is a senior portfolio manager for the municipal bond desk within Vanguard Fixed Income Group. With his team, Mr. D’Arcy oversees the Intermediate-Term Tax-Exempt Fund, California Long-Term Tax-Exempt Fund, and Pennsylvania Long-Term Tax-Exempt Fund, Ohio Long-Term Tax-Exempt Fund, and is a co-manager on the Tax-Managed Balanced Fund. He also co-heads the G.O./Tax Backed Satellite team. Mr. D'Arcy joined Vanguard in July 2011, with prior experience including senior portfolio manager at Columbia Management.

Mr. D’Arcy earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Colorado, and has more than 20 years of related investment experience. He is a member of the CFA® Society Philadelphia and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.
