She joined Barron’s in October 2014 as the Penta Wealth Management Editor for Barron’s Asia in Hong Kong.

Abby covered the credit markets and money management industry for Dow Jones newswires in New York before freelancing and consulting for several years mostly on personal finance and other business and financial topics. Before rejoining Dow Jones, she was an editor in Hong Kong at IFR Asia, a Thomson Reuters publication focused on the capital markets.

Cecilia Conrad
CEO, Lever for Change; Managing Director, MacArthur Fellows and 100&Change, MacArthur Foundation
Cecilia Conrad is CEO of Lever for Change, a new nonprofit affiliate of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, created to accelerate large-scale social change around the world. The organization develops and manages customized, open and transparent competitions that connect donors with bold solutions to global challenges, while strengthening the most highly rated ideas emerging from these competitions and catalyzing big investments through its Bold Solutions Network. In addition to her role at Lever for Change, Dr. Conrad oversees the MacArthur Fellows and 100&Change, MacArthur’s competition for a $100 million grant to help solve a critical problem of our time. Before joining the Foundation in 2013, Conrad had a distinguished career as both a professor and an administrator at Pomona College in Claremont, CA and is currently Professor of Economics, Emerita at Pomona. She served as Associate Dean of the College (2004-2007), as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College (2009-2012), and as Acting President (Fall 2012). From 2007-2009, she was interim Vice President and Dean of the Faculty at Scripps College. Dr. Conrad received her B.A. degree from Wellesley College and her Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University.

Renée Karibi-Whyte

Renée Karibi-Whyte, head of marketing, communications and partnerships at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, leads efforts to drive sustainable, mission-related growth by disseminating thought leadership and expanding opportunities for client development. She is intimately involved with Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors' Theory of the Foundation initiative as well as other knowledge-based projects that help clients and the sector create more thoughtful, effective philanthropy. Renee also serves as the Assistant Corporate Secretary and is on RPA's leadership team.

Before joining RPA in 2017, Renée held various senior marketing roles at Thomson Reuters and worked as a senior division manager for the American Conference Institute. Prior to that, Renée practiced law at Morgan Lewis & Bockius in New York and at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Renée has a law degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University School of Business and Industry.
