The word “advisory” gets kicked around more than a footy on a Saturday arvo. We all say we’re doing it. We all want to do more of it. But between client expectations, packed calendars, and teams just trying to keep up, there’s often a (large) gap between what our clients want, what we promise them and what we actually deliver. In this session, I'll dive into the messy middle of modern advisory - exploring why we oversell, under-resource, and sometimes outright avoid the work clients really value. It’s part therapy session, part reality check, and part call to arms for a more honest, sustainable version of advisory.
