Webinar hosting presenter Ardisanne T
Immediate Past Chair, North American Leadership Council
My friends call me Ardey, which is short for Ardisanne. I am the Immediate Past Chair of the North American Leadership Council of URI. I am a practicing Reiki Master (for the past 30 years) and I send the healing energy of All That Is to every person on this planet each and every day.

I've been married to the same man for almost 49 years and have 3 daughters, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. I live in the central valley of California in Fresno.I join URI in 1997 as a volunteer/servant to help put on the organizing conferences to develop the Preamble, Purpose and Principles of this organization. As a servant volunteer I was not apart of the discussions but was there to support those that were doing the work.

Through out my tenure as a volunteer it has always been one of service to others. After we became URI in 2000 I worked whenever needed to come into the Global Support Office to do mostly time consuming letter and envelope addressing and stuffing...

I attended the 2009 Regional Meeting in North Carolina and when asked who wanted to be on the first regional team, my hand raised. In 2010 I became the first Chair of the Leadership Council of North America after our team had created our 501c3 status. I was Chair for the next 3 years and then the Immediate Past Chair until present day.

My long service, the many varied jobs and the deep understanding of the Preamble, Purpose and Principles of United Religions Initiative has prepared me well for the Global Trustee position . I understand that this is a working Global council board and I am prepared to put in the needed and necessary hours to do the job and more. I also understand that I will also be a liaison between the grassroots organization at the CC level, the Regional level and the Global level both as a member of the Circle of Healers CC in the Multiregion(including being on the Communication Committee for said Region) and on the Leadership Council of North America.

I am honored to be nominated and will do all that I can do to return this honor.

And having travelled extensively throughout the world, I've experienced first-hand our plural and diverse nature, while bearing witness to humanity and nature's extraordinary capabilities for creating beauty and destruction. As a seer of beauty, I believe in the truth and goodness of human beings and that by sharing the unique gifts we each possess, together, we can heal the fissures of humanity and the environmental crisis.
