Chris Martin, Member of the Firm in the Accounting and Auditing Practice at SobelCo, has worked closely with mid-sized, privately-held businesses throughout his entire career. Since joining SobelCo in 2015, Chris has consulted with clients to help them gain an accurate understanding of their financial situation. Using clients’ internal information, along with industry benchmarks, Chris enables them to set strategic goals and make educated decisions, most specifically helping them monitor and improve their operations through forecasts and projections that can lead to greater efficiencies and profitability.

Dave Capodanno became a Member of the Firm at SobelCo in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, Dave served for over two decades as an Audit and Private Business Partner at international and regional public accounting firms while also draws on his experience serving as the Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of a publicly traded company.

As such he brings a depth of experience to the firm’s clients, especially those in sectors that include manufacturing and distribution, food and beverage, logistics, real estate and insurance brokers, along with his specialized expertise in film production incentives. His goal is to consistently provide excellent client service tailored to each company’s needs, while taking into account the unique challenges and opportunities of closely-held businesses.

Dave understands that ours is a relationship business, and as a result he has always understood the importance of nurturing meaningful and lasting relationships. He accomplishes this by sincerely caring about each client and colleague, providing value-added services such as helping to find the right banker or facilitating introductions to industry experts and influencers that provide clients with related industry content and relevant business discussions, all of which combine to identify the business development opportunities that contribute to our clients’ growth.
