Positioning Your Organization for Constant Change

About This Webinar

Please join us on February 3, 2021, for the first SobelCo Nonprofit webinar of the new year. Our guest speaker, Jonathan R. Pearson, Executive Director of Corporate Social Responsibility,
Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey will take us step-by-step through the changes that he had to implement in the midst of the global pandemic while looking ahead to prepare the organization for critical changes yet to come.

Like most of the leaders in the nonprofit community, Jonathan was faced with the daunting task to effect an immediate change. These were the action items he had to quickly address to ensure the organization’s relevancy and role as a leader in the nonprofit community:

• Amend the organization’s 2020 budget to reflect the reality of the influence of Covid-19
• Develop an Action Plan by drawing on the data generated by the Center for Nonprofits
• Present the Plan to the Board and gain approval to move forward
• Communicate the new strategy as reflected in the Plan both internally and externally
• Take all steps necessary to execute the Plan
• Report on the results and assess the impact

During this one hour webinar, Jonathan will address many of the critical lessons that have been learned as nonprofits of all sizes have adjusted to unprecedented circumstances, including the importance of moving quickly, being flexible, thinking strategically, and nurturing camaraderie and cooperation across all areas of the organization and with the community at large.
