Jeffrey Petrone is the Managing Director and lead advisor for SageView Advisory Group’s Florida office. He has dedicated over 17 years to improving retirement plans. He has been a proponent of helping plan sponsors design retirement plans to help employees effectively prepare for retirement. Through his work with one of his clients, over a 5 year period, he published a case study titled “Driving Healthy Outcomes for Retirement Plans.” This study was one of the first examples of how defined contribution plan design optimization that drives retirement security can also have financial benefits for the plan sponsor. Jeff also provides thought leadership to some of the largest retirement plan administrators in the country by serving on their financial advisory boards. He has consistently used his knowledge and experience with retirement plan management to help with the development of new tools and products to better serve the retirement plan industry. Throughout his career, Jeff has been recognized as a leader by several organizations. In 2014, Jeff was recognized in NAPA’s “Top 50 under 40.” In 2010, Jeff was recognized by 401k Wire as one of the “300 Most Influential Advisors in Defined Contribution” and named as one of the Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisors by PlanAdvisor Magazine. The South Florida Business Journal named Jeff as one of the Top 40 Business Professionals in south Florida for 2012. .
