In his current role, Bruns works with a team of investment, client service, and sales professionals to develop business and client strategy in the defined contribution plan sponsor marketplace.
Prior to his current role, he was a Sr. Investment Analyst conducting research and building investment tools to refine Morningstar Investment Management’s portfolio construction, asset allocation, and reporting systems. He also has an extensive background in software development and financial modeling.
Bruns holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Lewis University and a master’s degree from DePaul University, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

Sean Klock brings over 12 years of investment experience to his role as VP, Head of Workplace Regional Sales for Morningstar’s retirement solutions group.  Sean and his team work to promote and implement Morningstar’s industry leading plan sponsor and participant level fiduciary offerings.  Most recently, he served as a Sales Director for Morningstar’s Institutional Sales group working with clients in New York, New Jersey and Long Island.  Prior to that, he served as a Regional Sales Director for Morningstar Investment Services (MIS) working with fee-based independent broker-dealers, advisors, and RIA’s looking to partner with Morningstar for their turn-key asset management program. 



He currently holds a Bachelor's degree from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT, and the CFP® and CIMA® designations. In addition, Sean has successfully completed the Series 6, 63, & 65 license exams.

Martin Campbell is senior vice president of retirement solutions for Morningstar Investment Management LLC. In this role, Campbell consults with plan sponsors to implement the Morningstar Lifetime Index Funds as the Qualified Default Investment Alternative within defined contribution plans. He specializes in collective investment trusts (CITs) and target-date solutions.

Before joining Morningstar in 2016, Campbell was a sales representative with Reliance Trust and before that, he was a trust consultant with Hand Benefits & Trust. Previously, he was a senior product manager with Northern Trust’s corporate and institutional services group.

Campbell recently served on the Executive Committee and chaired the Plan Administration Committee for the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). He has spoken on retirement solutions and investment structures at multiple forums including the Deloitte Global Employer Services Conference, Northern Trust Institutional Client Conference, Committee on Investment of Employee Benefit Assets International Sub-Committee meeting, and DCIIA Public Policy Forum.

Campbell holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation from fi360 and the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
