Ali Moghaddam moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was young. Many years later, his father was diagnosed with cancer and passed away on Ali’s first day of college. Having seen the devastating effects of a family losing the household breadwinner and a widowed mother having to care for her three boys by herself, Ali felt a personal calling to one day have a career in the Insurance Industry. Ali earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Georgia State University and later earned his MBA in 2002 from the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. After completing his MBA he decided to pursue, the Insurance and Financial Services industry as an Agent and Financial Advisor. Ali holds several licenses and industry designations of specialties. Ali made it his calling to help navigate Seniors approaching 65 years old through the complexities of the Medicare planning process. Ali became the President of GA Medicare101 Corp in 2015. GA Medicare101 Corp is a Non-Profit organization. Ali strongly believes that when Seniors attend GA Medicare101 workshops they understand what choices are available to them, what choice will be best for their individual needs, and most importantly what is the impact of making the wrong Medicare decision when the Senior turns 65 years old. Ali and his wife Maryam live in East Cobb and have been married for over 18 years. They have two boys and a Mini Goldendoodle puppy. Ali sits on volunteer boards throughout the community. Ali has a passion for coaching Youth sports and is the Walton Youth Football Head Football Coach for the 3rd grade Team. Being a lifelong native of Atlanta, Ali is a die-hard Atlanta sports team fanatic. He actively plays in a Men’s adult basketball league and his other hobbies include traveling with his family around the world and attending music festivals and concerts.
