Dr. Nicole Glaser
Speaker
Dr. Nicole Glaser is a professor of pediatrics at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. She holds the Dean’s Endowed Professorship in Childhood Diabetes Research. Her research has focused on studying the causes and consequences of cerebral injury in children with diabetic ketoacidosis. Her work has included studies using a juvenile rat model of DKA as well as many clinical studies of children with DKA. Most recently, she served as co-PI for the PECARN FLUID Trial, a large multi-center randomized clinical trial investigating fluid regimens for treatment of pediatric DKA.

Prof. Fergus Cameron
Speaker
Fergus Cameron is the Director of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Royal Children’s hospital, Melbourne. He is also Head of the Diabetes Research Group at the Murdoch Children’s Research. He has published widely in the medical and lay literature about matters regarding endocrine and diabetes management. His particular interests are the impacts of type 1 diabetes upon central nervous system development and psychosocial aspects of care. He is a past council member of the International Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes, a past president of the Australasian Paediatric Endocrine Group and is a participant in the Hvidoere Study Group on Childhood Diabetes. He is a Deputy Editor of the journal Pediatric Diabetes.

Dr. Leena Priyambada
Speaker
Dr. Leena Priyambada has received her training in Pediatric endocrinology at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute (SGPGI) in Lucknow, India. She did further her knowledge as observer in Pediatric endocrinology at The Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Ohio. Her most recent work experience was with the Christian Medical College in Vellore, India and the Rainbow Children's Hospital in Hyderabad. She is currently pursuing a research fellowship in Pediatric Diabetes at The Children's Hospital at Westmead in Sydney.
She is currently the Joint Secretary of the Indian Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology (ISPAE).
