The purpose of this live web event is to discuss topics that can be controversial in nature even if they should not be so.
Within the church some denominations condemn drinking, some allow it, and some look the other way. What does scripture teach about this topic? What are the facts?
This web class will have some open discussion along with question and answer time. The issue is worthy of discussion because of some very serious facts concerning alcohol consumption. This discussion will not condemn anyone but have simple and honest discourse on the topic.
Dr. Ray Self will be the speaker. He holds a Doctorate in Christian Psychology and a Doctorate in Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
This will be a discussion of Christians and drinking.
Some of the topics that will be discussed include:
Why is this topic so controversial?
Is drinking alcohol a sin?
Is it acceptable?
Does it open demonic doorways?
What are the facts?
Should you be condemned if you are saved and still drink?
What are the pros and cons?
