Just the name stepparent alone causes a mixture of emotions and opinions. Stepparents unfortunately have been much misunderstood and maligned. Sadly stepparents have received a bad rap from much of society.

Step parenting is one of the most difficult long term tasks an adult can take on. The role of stepparent is a challenge for any person. Step parenting can be confusing, difficult and at the same time extremely rewarding. Stepparents can be real heroes taking on children that are not their own and choosing to be the father or mother that they lack in their life.

Dr. Ray Self will discuss step parenting in a special one-hour counseling and learning hour this Thursday at 8:00pm EST. Dr. Self is a stepparent and will share from his own personal experiences and well as from his training as a Christian Psychologist. If you are a stepparent or are in a relationship with one, this webinar is for you.

Come and learn, ask questions and discuss with Dr. Self this topic that touches all of us.

Twice a month, you are invited to join ICM College for this free learning and counseling hour. Each class, will focus on a different relationship or life issue like communicating, resolving conflicts, alcoholism, sexual abuse, and others. Following the presentation, attendees are encouraged to share their experiences on the night's topic and ask questions.
