Presented by the International College of Ministry on
Tuesday, May 28th , 2019 at 8:00pm Eastern / 7:00pm Central.
This Free Live Web Class is approximately 60 minutes in length.
You are invited to join ICM for a Hot Topic discussion. The evening's topic will be Don't Say That! - Words Christians Should Avoid, presented by ICM's President, Dr. Ray Self and ICM Technical Director, Dr. Steve Wittmann.
This one-hour discussion will begin with a short video on the power of words and how some words have unintended consequences. The Bible warns us that the power of life and death are in the tongue, yet Christians embrace popular metaphors, aphorisms, and other modern slang sayings without understanding the power those words have when spoken.
Following the video presentation, students will be encouraged to participate in a classroom discussion.
In this one-hour forum, Dr. Self will query comments and questions from the audience.
Come and participate in the discussion — ask questions, share experiences.
Join the discussion on Tuesday, May 28th at 8:00 PM Eastern / 7 Central.
