Joe Koenig Author of “Getting the Truth”

Joe, a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) and Forensic Linguist, retired from the Michigan State Police after 26 years and has 50 years of investigative experience in both the public and private sectors, including 10 years at Hartford Financial as their Manager of Organized Medical Fraud Investigations. He is the award-winning author of the book, “Getting the Truth.” He was lead investigator on the James R. Hoffa case, a manager of investigations for a Fortune 500 company, and an AVP in a large national bank.
He is Past President of the Michigan FBI National Academy Associates, holds a BS in Accounting from Wayne State University, and a Masters in Public Administration from Eastern Michigan University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He now owns and operates KMI Investigations in Michigan specializing in financial fraud investigations.
