About This Webinar

Presented by Christopher Danielson (@trianglemancsd)

I first asked this question in about 1998 and I still don't have a firm answer. I have learned a lot in continuing to ask it. In this session, I'll present a perspective based on Cognitively Guided Instruction, a research project that documents young children's problem solving. We'll consider examples of problems—and of learning—spanning elementary through college-level math.

We are math teachers who share what we've learned, because we don't want our classes to drain the energy from students. Professional development among friends, not just colleagues. Fun! Immediately useful! Interesting!
