From Sue "Math Circles are a way for people to get together and do math for the sheer pleasure of it. In a math circle, the leader proposes a mathematical mystery, and then leads very subtly. I've chosen a topic that will be accessible to anyone who teaches math - Pythagorean triples. You all know that 3, 4, and 5 build a right triangle. Are there other whole number triples that work? How many? Do these triples have any interesting properties? We'll explore this rich terrain together. Come join us!"
