Is there anything written in the scrolls about Seth going back to the garden to obtain oil from the tree of life (for Adam as he’s dying) and God giving him 3 tree seeds to be planted in his mouth upon his burial?

A catholic friend told me that baptism was full immersion in Jesus day.

But in the Poem of the Man God, it is said that John the
baptist had something like a half shell of a pumpkin on his belt, presuming to pour water over the head of person being baptized (as today)
In scripture it says Jesus went into the water. I'm thinking that He walked into the water so to stand and have the water poured over His Head.
Now today Frances you talked about the Essene's having immersion.

Do you know what method was used on the day of Pentecost when 3,000 were baptized? It could not have been immersion in the filthy Kedron. Did they pour water over the heads?

Thanks Frances.

Loved this insight on JB. I don’t have a feel for the geography but wondered when Herod killed the innocents around Bethlehem if John was sent to the wilderness (Qumran) for safety.
Would it have been unusual for Zechariah to have had a presence in the corrupt temple and also in Qumran?
