Join us for a deep dive into the Technology Summit International (TSI) 2023 to be hosted December 5-7, 2023 in Irving, Texas.

TSI is an annual event championed by the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) to catalyze how we collectively address the biggest challenges in the fire service. In this webinar, we'll reflect on the lessons from TSI 2022, give you a sneak peek into what's in store for TSI 2023, and showcase how you can get involved.

Division Chief at Garland Fire Department
Scott Roseberry has over 23 years of experience in the fire service and is a Battalion Chief with Garland Fire Department. He has an Associate’s Degree in Fire Protection, a Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. He holds the designations of Executive Fire Officer (EFO), Certified Public Manager (CPM), Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Fire Service – Chief Executive Officer (FSCEO), and Chief Fire Executive (CFE). He has commanded many Multi-Alarm assignments including the EF-4 Tornado that struck Garland on December 26, 2015. He is an Adjunct Instructor with TCC and is the Special Operations Division Chief for Garland Fire Department.

He is the Co-Chair of the IAFC Technology Council, a member of the FEMA Region 6 RAC, and on the Department of Homeland Security First Responder Resource Group. He has presented at the Texas Fire Chiefs Conference, TEEX Leadership Symposium, CPSE Annual Conference, and FRI.

Fire Chief at San Bernadino Fire County District
Fire Chief Dan Munsey (EFO, CFO, MPA) has been active in the fire service for over 27 years, rising through the ranks of the County of San Bernardino Fire Protection District from firefighter-paramedic to fire chief.

Chief Munsey is a Center for Public Excellence, Chief Fire Officer, is an Executive Fire Officer, possesses a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Grand Canyon University, is a graduate of the California Special Districts Leadership Academy, and holds a California State Fire Training Chief Officer Certificate.

In addition, Chief Munsey is the International Fire Chiefs Association, Technology Council chairman, a FIRESCOPE Board of Director, and served for many years on California Incident Management Team 11 in the operations section.

Deputy Chief at Wylie Fire-Rescue
Cory Claborn has been a member of Wylie Fire Rescue since 2004, starting as a Firefighter Paramedic. Over the years, he has gained valuable experience in various specialized areas, including hazmat, dive, ropes rescue, swift-water rescue, marine operations, GIS, and technology.

Throughout his career, Cory has been promoted through the ranks, including firefighter, captain, and battalion chief. Recently, he moved to the prevention office, where he now serves as the Division over Prevention. In this position, Cory is committed to promoting fire safety and ensuring a safer community through proactive measures and innovative strategies.

Strategic Advisor for National and International Programs at IAFC
Jeff Dulin is the Strategic Advisor for National & Global Programs for the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Jeff also oversees several of the IAFC’s GIS Projects where he works on programs that collect, analyze and disseminate information. In this role, Jeff oversees all Technology Research Projects and data development tools for use prior to and during disasters. Jeff Works closely with State, Local, and Federal partners in the GIS arena to help bring real-time data sharing from the field to decision-makers. Jeff has been very active in the disaster response arena deploying to dozens of national disasters as part of Incident Management Teams and was the Deputy Operations Chief for the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC.

Prior to the IAFC, Jeff retired as the Deputy Chief of the Charlotte Fire Department after 33 years where he served as a Deputy Chief for the last 14 years over the Communications, Training, EM / Homeland Security, and Special Operations Divisions. Jeff has spoken Nationally and Internationally on Disaster and Homeland Security and Emergency Management issues. Jeff serves on three Federal Committees overseeing National Standards for Homeland Security, Emergency Management, and Active Shooter Events. Jeff holds a BA in Fire Administration from the University of Maryland and is a Graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School with a Master's in Homeland Defense and National Security. Jeff has presented Internationally in the UK, EU, Australia, and the Middle East for many years.

Technology Advisor - IAFC
In 2023 Kevin Sofen joined the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) as a Technology Advisor to help plan and lead the upcoming 2023 Technology Summit International on December 6-8 in Irving Texas. Kevin spent 11+ years at W.S. Darley & Company, overseeing community development, market strategy, and emerging technology. Since 2012, Kevin successfully commercialized a range of products that include packaged water in a box, virtual reality training, and autonomous drone solutions. In 2017 Kevin launched the www.SmartFireFighting.com community which highlights thought leadership and change management around technology and innovation adoption in the fire service.
