    Next-generation vehicles will require significant upgrades to traditional vehicle architecture in order to address the major limitations that the automotive industry is facing today, some of which could potentially lead to new business opportunities. To guarantee the desired level of innovation, software-defined vehicle architectures must provide flexibility, scalability, compatibility and upgradability on different hardware components.

    RTI is working with more than half of the top 10 funded vehicles startups. This session will discuss the definition and implementation of a modern vehicle architecture in order to unlock the potential of next-generation vehicles that these companies are building. We will describe the software requirements that define an innovative next gen e/e and telematics architecture including technical safety ISO26262 and cybersecurity ISO21434 and WP29.
