  • About
This session will base its discussion on security features now being developed and offered for secure non-volatile memory in automotive applications that have a close coupling, or alignment with safety. As an example, these devices provide features such as on-Flash memory management, trusted identification, authentication, and encryption features for customers' Levels 2+ through 5 autonomous driving security requirement. General security features found in various classes of non-volatile memory devices will be fully described. In addition, general categories of attacks, major attack surfaces, their vulnerabilities, and protection approaches will be discussed. Current security frameworks and features being implemented to protect data at rest and in transit will be described as well as how ADAS applications works hand in hand with advanced secure storage to provide high levels of security. Types of information stored and use cases will also be covered.
