Andrè Gattolin, PhD

André Gattolin is a French politician (La République En Marche) and an academic. Since October 2011, he has been a member of the French Senate, currently serving as vice-chair of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee and also vice-chair of the European Affairs Committee. He is also member of the Legal Affairs and Human Rights Committee at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and of the Democracy and Human rights Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
Andrè Gattolin is co-chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC). He has defended democracy movements in both Europe and Asia through individual activism and as an elected official.

John Hoffman

John Hoffman was first elected in 2012 in Minnesota and is the current Senator for Senate District 36. Senator Hoffman is currently serving on the following committees, Human Services Reform as Ranking Minority Member and Aging and Long-Term Care Policy. Before being elected to the Minnesota Legislature, Hoffman served as a member of the Anoka-Hennepin School District Board, beginning in 2005. Prior to that he was appointed by US Secretary of Education Rodney Paige to the Federal Interagency Coordinating Council, assisting and advising Cabinet members on their response to children and families, birth to eight, specifically those with special health care needs. Senator Hoffman lives in Champlin with his wife, Yvette and daughter Hope.
