James is a partner and head of our Digital sector and FutureLaw teams.

As head of TLT FutureLaw he is responsible for the development of new legal and other solutions for TLT’s clients, particularly relating to LegalTech, professional services consulting and alternative resourcing, working with a team of talented lawyers and other professionals across TLT and with external partners.

For 20+ years he advised fast growth companies and international corporations on the development of innovative technologies and the sourcing of multi-million GBP enterprise wide applications and services across the Digital, Retail, Financial Services and Public Sectors. He is ranked as a leader in the field and leading individual for IT and telecoms in Chambers UK and Legal 500, the two leading independent guides to the legal profession.

James is also Chair of the Board of Trustees of Watershed Arts Trust Limited (an innovative cross-artform venue and producer sharing, developing and showcasing cultural ideas and talent).

Matt Gould is the Head of Legal Transformation at ContractPodAi® and leads the legal teams. Matt truly understands the needs of clients and how the use of technology can help them achieve better outcomes.
As a solicitor with more than 20 years of experience as a general counsel, he has led global in-house legal teams in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Previously, he was General Counsel for EMEA at Telstra and General Counsel at LycaMobile.
Matt holds an LLB (Law and Politics) degree from Birmingham University and is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.

Head of Digital Services - Fujitsu

Ben leads the Digital Services team at Fujitsu, a global team of lawyers supported by operations analysts and legal engineers. Having started his career as a corporate commercial lawyer at Hogan Lovells, Ben has been working in legal departments in the technology sector for the past six years. At Fujitsu, Ben and the team have a particular focus on driving a digital transformation to enable the global legal and commercial function to maximise its impact, and deliver its services faster and with the data needed to make insightful risk optimised decisions.

Jędrzej Stępniowski

Head of Legal/ In-house Lawyer Tooploox

Jędrzej is an In-house Lawyer at Tooploox, a software development company based in Wrocław, Poland. As a member of a 2-person strong legal team in a fast-growing company he is involved in various legal aspects of the business with his main focus being privacy and IT/IP matters. Having to handle multiple matters and working closely with software engineers he quickly discovered the benefits that legal tech brings. Since he joined Tooploox he worked on implementation of tools automating routine tax reporting by employees and digitizing contract lifecycle management. He is also part of a team working on a tool which aims to automate contract visualization - originally developed during the Global Legal Hackathon 2020 in Warsaw, Poland.
