Identity in Publishing: Risk, Opportunity, Preparedness

Thu, Mar 25, 2021 · 3:00 PM · London
About This Webinar

It’s nearing the end of Q1 2021 and whilst we know third party cookies are going (99.9% certain) it’s less than a year until Google deprecate them and there’s still no definite replacement. Google’s Privacy Sandbox seems the most likely replacement, but many of its tools are yet to be tested & verified. Meanwhile; there’s a host of players bringing out their own ID solutions (e.g. the Trade Desk’s UID2.0), various tests going on, and working groups formed tasked with bringing order to the various moving parts.

All of these moving pieces have left many publishers confused, and uncertain as to what is the best scenario for them. Come join our webinar to find out more about:

- The 4 possible scenarios for identity, and the opportunities they present.

- How publishers & vendors - such as Imgur, Leaf Group and Magnite - are preparing for the upcoming changes.

- The Prebid committees and W3C working groups seeking to help publishers solve key challenges.

- How Carbon is working with publishers, working groups and identity solutions providers to shape the conversation
