The aim of this webinar is to create a sharing space where participants will reflect on the role of play and role-play in the language classroom and contribute with experiences and ideas. Dialogues and role-play activities found in coursebooks are often used in class as merely language activities. Is there more to them than meets the eye? Are we focusing too much on the language task and forgetting that the person using those lines might feel disconnected to them? How can we create the connection to make dialogues and role-playing meaningful practice?
