What is a webinar?
A webinar is an online event that is broadcasted to a group of individuals through their computers via the Internet.
A webinar allows a speaker to share multimedia content with audiences that can be spread out over a large geographical area. You can log located anywhere. A webinar also allows the speaker to interact with an audience. The audience can ask the speaker or moderator (who is leading the webinar) questions in real-time through an instant messaging tool.

Marcela Cintra is a manager at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo. She has taught English for over 20 years, been involved in teacher training and development programmes and presented in Disal, ABCI, LABCI, BRAZ-TESOL and IATEFL conferences. A DELTA holder, CELTA and ICELT tutor, she is currently taking an MA course in TESOL.
