Rachel is a Research Engagement Strategist with CanChild for their Family Engagement in Research Course. She works to educate families on the processes of partnership in research. She also connects with researchers and trainees on their public engagement strategies. Rachel was mother to a young man born with CP and a rare chromosome diagnosis, an experience where she gained 14 years of caregiving experience in understanding medical complexity.
