Dr Georgina Clutterbuck is a physiotherapist who is passionate about supporting children and adults with neurological impairments. She has worked clinically in government and not-for-profit sectors and in her own private practice and enjoys sharing her experiences with the next generation of physiotherapists to help them develop pragmatic solutions to real-world challenges. Georgina currently works at Western Sydney University and has taught into neurological and paediatric subjects at Charles Sturt University, The University of Queensland, and Griffith University. Georgina completed her PhD in 2019 where she designed and evaluated a practitioner-led, peer-group sports intervention, Sports Stars, for children with cerebral palsy. Her current research explores the effectiveness of practitioner-led, peer-group sports interventions across different cultures and for children with a variety of disabilities, as well as integrating these programs into the wider landscape of health and sport in Australia, and around the world.
